I love this hike! I have completed this iconic Kananaskis hike multiple times, and still, every time I come to this view I am stunned.
This is my most extensive thread painting to date. I completed it over many dark winter evenings while I pined for the next hiking season. I sketched a pattern from a photo I took in 2023 and started building from there. Creating textures and blending colours is my favourite part of embroidery.
