I love to make invitations feel special and personal. This selection of post card style invitations includes both personal and corporate events. My work includes stock photograph selection, font pairing, and illustrations.

PROJECT
Annual stampede party invitation for the real estate industry
NOTES
I wanted this piece to have the classic western feel
while still feeling professional. I used hand drawn
rope details and interesting font pairings to achieve
my vision.

PROJECT
Save The Date postcards to invite family to an art museum wedding
NOTES
Since the venue was an art museum, I used this as an opportunity
to keep very classic wedding styling. I kept everything in one
colour to accommodate for fancy letterpress printing.

PROJECT
Save The Date cards to entice guests to travel to a mountain wedding
NOTES
The draw to come to this wedding was the beautiful scenery in Revelstoke, so I created a digital illustration of the iconic Mount Begbie. I used modern fonts to keep things light and fun to hint at the carefree atmosphere of the event.

PROJECT
Invitation for an event featuring new lingerie trends and special sales
NOTES
I wanted this card to be feminine and light, which I achieved through a frilly stock illustration and colour choices. Both event hosts cater to upscale clients and I wanted this piece to feel both rich and delicate.

PROJECT
Invitation for an event featuring a Jazz singer and skin care trials
NOTES
I used vintage-looking jazzy fonts to create a music themed post card for this event. Sticking to two colours gives this a classic look that lets the important information stand out properly.
